Therapy Assistant

Felicity is a highly experienced and passionate therapy assistant, bringing over 20 years of expertise in early childhood education and teaching to The Speech Express team. As a mum of three beautiful children, she understands the importance of fostering strong communication skills and creating positive learning environments for children to thrive.

With a Master of Education specializing in Allied School Psychology, Felicity is skilled in conducting Level B assessments, screening for learning difficulties, and implementing tailored, evidence-based interventions. She is also trained in the ‘Sounds Write’ phonics program, further enhancing her ability to support children’s literacy and language development. Currently pursuing a Master of Speech Pathology, Felicity is dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skills in supporting children’s communication needs.

Felicity’s recent role as a Learning Diversity Leader at a Catholic primary school saw her collaborating with teachers, parents, and allied health professionals to support students with diverse learning needs. From running parent meetings and completing assessments to providing interventions and coordinating with Speech Pathologists, Educational Psychologists, and Paediatricians, Felicity brings a wealth of knowledge and a collaborative approach to her work.
