Senior Speech Pathologist

Maria is an experienced speech pathologist who values building long-term relationships with her clients and their families. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne in 2014, and with a Master of Speech Pathology from Flinders University in 2016. She speaks English and conversational Mandarin Chinese.

Throughout the course of her career, Maria has had the privilege to work with individuals of various ages with diverse strengths and needs, in community and private settings in Singapore. She believes that ‘it takes a village to raise a child’, and values collaborating with and empowering clients and their caregivers to maximise learning and social participation.

Maria strives to make sessions fun and meaningful, as play and relationships are the best vehicles for learning! She herself loves to learn, and in her spare time has dabbled in all sorts of activities from Korean to Krav Maga, along with various professional courses and trainings. You are likely to find Maria trying new foods or cooing over dogs inside and outside of work. She can’t wait to meet you at The Speech Express!
