Occupational Therapist

Stephanie is an experienced Occupational Therapist who has worked across a variety of Paediatric settings both in Australia and the United Kingdom. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology (University of Melbourne) and Masters in Occupational Therapy at Monash University, before moving over to the UK to gain experience in another culture and access OT training programs that do not come to Australia very frequently.

People describe her as a fun and creative Occupational Therapist whose goal is not only to support your child to the best outcome possible but also to make sessions as individualised and fun as possible. She believes that involving caregivers in their child’s therapy will result in the best outcomes for all of the children who seek her support, so focuses a lot of time on parent education and how to integrate strategies in their child’s weekly routine.

Being married to a vet, Stephanie’s house is often a “zoo” with various animals however her main pet at home is her rescued greyhound “Gus” who may pop up in therapy sessions. He is the world’s laziest dog and you will often find him looking for any soft surface that may look like the perfect place for a snooze.

When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family (including a human baby as well as her fur baby Gus), working on her garden, find the best dirty chai or doing a reformer pilates class.
