Paediatric Speech Therapy
Every child deserves to be heard. We’re dedicated to delivering personalised and engaging speech therapy for kids, empowering them to express themselves freely and meaningfully.
Using evidence-based speech pathology and animal-assisted interventions, our experienced team of paediatric speech pathologists supports children on their journey to communicate with confidence.
What is Paediatric Speech Therapy?
Paediatric speech therapy focuses on empowering children to communicate confidently, building a strong foundation for lifelong learning, meaningful connections, and personal growth.
Our certified practising paediatric speech pathologists use different evidence-based programs and approaches to support children of all ages with:
Speech
We support children in improving their articulation abilities by saying their speech sounds correctly, enabling others to understand them better.
Social Communication
We help children develop social skills so they can build relationships more easily and interact meaningfully with others.
Fluency
Does your child exhibit signs of stuttering? We can help improve the flow, rhythm, and speed of their speech with various techniques and exercises.
Expressive & Receptive Language
We teach children how to use their words to express their thoughts and feelings, as well as how to understand others when they do the same.
Literacy
Through activities like shared reading, we help children develop reading comprehension, understand sound-letter relationships, learn to decode and more.
Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
We can guide expression through alternate means, ranging from sign language and gestures to drawings and devices.

FAQs
How do I know if my child needs paediatric speech therapy?
If your child is showing signs of having difficulty communicating with and understanding others, then speech therapy may benefit them. Our paediatric speech therapists can conduct a more thorough assessment during your initial consultation and create a customised treatment plan for your child.
What ages of children do you work with?
We welcome children of all ages, from toddlers to older kids. Early intervention is often the most effective.
What does a typical session look like?
Sessions are tailored to the child and often include games, play-based activities, and — when helpful — animal-assisted therapy to keep children engaged.
How long does therapy take?
The duration varies by child and by the nature of the problem. Some progress quickly; others may need more extensive support. We regularly update parents on progress.
Are parents involved?
Yes! We provide resources for at-home practice and keep parents involved in the therapy process.
How does animal-assisted therapy help?
Depending on a child’s suitability, there may be an opportunity to have a therapy animal incorporated into their session. Our trained animals create a calm, friendly environment, helping children feel relaxed and open to learning. We have dogs, guinea pigs, fish, and sometimes even a cat! You can learn more about our animal-assisted interventions here.
